Do you have a date to see the oncologist?
While I was waiting and wondering,I posted on here and just to know that others were replying and they were reading and understanding did help me. Keep writing to us.

Thank you so much. I am just waiting on an appointment obviously my Dr has been in touch via email with them and hopefully I will have an appointment late next wk. Trying not overthink things but it literally came out of the blue. Doing deep breathing exercises and I hope that my anxiety will settle down. I know that everyday people get this type of news and like me the fear of the unknown sets in. But I’m a fighter and will do whatever it takes xxxx

At least you have a date for the appointment, that is a positive.

That’s how I feel Mary. Will get a full picture of treatment etc. that hopefully will be talked about

Thank you Mary for asking. Went for my breathing test at hospital and did very well. I am hoping for a positive outcome x How you doing good I hope

Very good, thank you. This time last year I was in hospital recovering from major surgery. A recent CT scan has showed no recurrence.

Hi Mary 

just to let you know that meeting with lung surgeon was quite positive. It is a very small lump on the top of my right lung. I am having a biopsies on 14 Jan and depending on outcome he is hoping that he can remove it with possible chemotherapy after if needed.

we are determined to keep positive but it is so hard. I have not told our families as I want to wait till after Christmas.

will have to tell them then as we always go abroad and obviously we can’t .

Think I’m dreading that the most. Keep well and wishing you a lovely happy healthy Christmas and New Year xxx
