Bit soon talking about my end of life

Hi l have just been diagnosed with lung cancer on Thursday so had a visit from nurse today so talked about my medication etc then jumped straight in with do you want to go to hospital later on or have you thought about it.Myself thought it was a bit soon as I only found out on Thursday

    If I'd been with you I'd have genuinely told her that it was tactless. With my partner I've not met a nurse who wasn't circumspect about prognoses and future treatment/care. I'm sorry you experienced such an abrupt conversation and I'm deeply sorry you've been given this diagnosis. I hope the manner you receive going forward is more considerate.
