Bcc just diagnosed

Wee bit nervous. Diagnosed on Friday with a bcc on the right side of my nose tip. Given the choices of what to do.  Would have preferred mohs surgery but a years wait. Cant cope with anymore waiting . So decided to go with the other option which was only 4 months. Skin graft or flap. Hopefully made the right choice.

  • Either choice would have been good. The outcome the same. Removing the BCC. Although generally slow growing the affected area would still be larger if you waited one year.

    Good luck with your treatment and pay heed to any advice given for protecting your skin against further damage. Factor 50 Suncream daily, clothing, hats.
