Bcc just diagnosed

Wee bit nervous. Diagnosed on Friday with a bcc on the right side of my nose tip. Given the choices of what to do.  Would have preferred mohs surgery but a years wait. Cant cope with anymore waiting . So decided to go with the other option which was only 4 months. Skin graft or flap. Hopefully made the right choice.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been diagnosed with a BCC. It's understandable that you don't want to wait and would prefer to move forward with treatment in the next few months. 

    We do have some information on our website about surgery for skin cancer which hopefully may offer you some reassurance. If you would like to talk things through with one of our nurses at any point you're most welcome to give them a call.
