Hi all, I hope everyone is as well as can be expected. I'm waiting for a call from the hospital with a date for my operation which will be within the next 10 days. I'll be having radiotherapy afterwards and I'll have to take Tamoxifen for 5 years and I'll probably need a few more operations but my doctor is really positive about the the outcome and so am I. I'll let you know how it goes. Keep in touch x

I went for my second biopsy today because they found more suspicious cells deeper into my breast.
But I've always been a very stubborn/obstinate type of person, which my youngest son reminded me this weekend

Hey. I was told I have a lobular cancer the other day. Had mri and bone scan. Just awaiting plan now. You guys seem such an amazing support to each other. I felt all the same fears and not being able to leave the house. I have 3 small children as a single mum. I never expected this and was a massive shock. But now I’m just eager to get on with treatments. I wondered how the op would be booked in. Did they say how much notice they’d give you? Stay strong everyone. There’s so many amazing treatments for cancer now. Less harsh and more treatable.
It's so hard playing the waiting game personally I felt better when I got a definite result even though it wasn't the one I wanted. Back to waiting again for result of second biopsy.
You are nearly there as far as the waiting is concerned, not long now, let us know the results. Either way we are here for each other x
I felt the same. Sense of relief after the initial shock. At least they found it and now we can work on getting rid of it. The nurse told me I’d feel better after and she was right. I hope your wait is over soon Tiffany and fingers crossed for a good result.
