When they came to operate my bowel and bladder were stuck to the uterus so had to be surgically unstuck (scar tissue from possible earlier D & C ops) this meant signal lymph nodes were scattered so not stable enough to take not sure why didn’t take another sort of sample perhaps cos of other risks.she did say no sign of cancer in bowel bladder or cervix.

Well good news about no other signs of cancer...  All of those organs are so close together that if there had been spread for both of us it could mean more aggressive treatment. I do still feel so lucky that it was caught early..  x

Going for post op on Thursday so crossing all fingers and toes till then

Hiya, I'm back after going off the radar. This week's been busy with appointments and head stuff - big news is I'm having a total hysterectomy on Friday (13th wouldn't you know). I'm currently feeling a combination of relief and a little trepidation as I've never had an operation before. Fingers crossed.
