Recently diagnosed with metastatic cervical cancer and now looking at dendritic cell therapy - anyone tried this?

My cervix and abdominal lymph nodes were cleared up by treatment over 15 months ago but some escaped treatment and took hold again in chest lymph nodes. Am hoping radiotherapy will sort the lymph nodes out but also looking at dendritic cell therapy to slow down progression to organs. Anyone else looking at dendritic cell therapy or had experience of this?

  • Welcome to Cancer Chat, Julesport.

I'm sorry to hear that some of the cancer has returned, but it's good to know that your cervix and abdominal lymph nodes responded to treatment before.

Hopefully others who are exploring dentric cell therapy will be here soon to chat with you. With this in mind, I do remember that BillyboyD posted on this thread about this type of therapy. There is also information about dendritic cells on our website and if you'd like to discuss this in more detail with one of our cancer nurses, you can contact them on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5pm.

I hope this can be of some help.

    Best wishes,
