Hi Alison, what a terrible shock for you. Have you family or friends to support you?

How soon after the scan/biopsy were you told?

I am waiting to go for a scan, as I have 5 symptoms. Premenopausal flooding every hour, blood like water. Pain inside. Swelling in the groin and stomach and upper thighs. I have prepared myself that it is womb cancer.

I Starred off with a pink discharge only. Went to my gp and referred to the hospital.

Exactly the same has just happened to me!  Pink discharge strange smell too! Went to gp referred.. DC done … polyps found in womb!…cancer found in polyps… diagnosed womb cancer .. had radical robotic hysterectomy 3 weeks ago!  Biopsy’s came back .. clear!  So thankful & grateful … starting brachytherapy on Friday then 6 rounds of Chemotherapy… I’m on a journey but there is an end & a very positive one thankfully!

3 sessions of brachytherapy then 6 rounds of chemo 1 day every 3 weeks x6 

I am nervous of the unknown  … but everyone has given me their very best care so I’m keeping a positive strong hat on!

Went for my histology results,no evidence of cancer.All contained.I have to have the same treatment as you.I don't want to lose my hair.I feel quite upset about it.It stands out that you've got cancer.Im trying yo be positive.

Alison I’m so so pleased for you!  That’s the best news & everything else pales into insignificance! 
I don’t relish the thought of losing my hair either but it’s a small price to pay for being cancer free!  Which you are at the moment! 
I’m going to get a wig next wig try to get similar to my own hair.  It’s hopefully only for 6-8 months. 
this time next year we should meet up! 
I feel very  apprehensive about the treatment but know it’s needed!  
the news is fresh for you.  Hopefully I’ve helped you & in a few days you will feel differently xx
