                           went through similar ten years ago, and the slog was no different back then .Lost 60% of my liver back then, ad the pre and post chemo were pretty brutal, but the outcome made the effort worthwhile. Stoma was reversed, and it took me 5 years to get the bowel to accept the change. Stick with it and hope you have a successful outcome,

Thank you David and glad you’re still around to tell your story 10 years on - hoping I’ll be able to do the same thing. Feels like a lottery though! 

Hello Andrew! You wonderful brave man - thank you for sharing your story. How are you feeling? My dad has been diagnosed with exactly the same - has a biopsy on Monday morning. Has to go on a low fibre diet. Did you have to do the same? 

Hello - no diet changes for me. Feeling ok a week after treatment but it floors me for several days after. I’m in for round 6 shortly and have a 20% reduction in oxaliplatin this time. It’s a tough regime which is taking its toll on me a bit hence the slight reduction. 

Had my CT this week but won’t find out for a couple of weeks - needs to go to my MDT before I find out what’s what’s.

thoughts are with your dad - let’s hope we both get on a better direction very soon.
