Waiting for my results

Hello everyone,

This is my first visit and post on this forum.  I was referred using the 2 week pathway 4 weeks ago tomorrow for suspected endometrial cancer.  I have had an ultrasound scan and also a hysteroscopy and waiting on the results of the biopsy which are due tomorrow.  The week waiting has been unbearable after the surgeon said that he was fairly sure I was looking at a cancer diagnosis.   Just wanted to say hello really and looking for tips to avoid going mad before the results come through.

    Hi there,

    The waiting is awful but it seems like you will soon have the results and I so hope they are good. I got my intial results within a week, but after surgery (masectomy) its nearly 4 weeks till I  get, 1 week to go, its so hard I go from positive to negative hundreds of times a day, constantly thinking... so I hope you get good results and no more waiting, but exercise, reading, and dont be alone are the tips I would give
