Had bladder cancer and prostate cancer all had been removed.

so shocked that I have now been diagnosed with prostate cancer stage 4.

I hadn’t realised that this would happen after having prostate removed

My family and I are devastated

Hi weekdays12 and welcome to the forum though sorry you have to be here and your cancer is back. I can imagine how heart breaking it must be for you and your loved ones. PS i have T4 prostate cancer, It is a little surprising your surgeon didn't mention that biomechanical recurrence happens with 25% of prostatectomy's. Am i ok asking you a couple of questions, were/are you having 3 monthly PSA tests, did you have any radiotherapy after your operation and how long since surgery, take care.
