Hi Bec12345, welcome to the forum. 

I just wanted to reassure you that you will find yourself to be much stronger than you think. I am totally on my own, I have no family and my 2 best friends both live about 70 miles away in one direction and about 60 miles in the other. My closest friend here where I live ran for the hill's when I got my diagnosis- she said that she couldn't cope with my illness! So you see, I really am on my own and my first reaction when told that I had breast cancer was "I can't do this". But I could, and I did.

My advice would be to just take one day at a time, keep putting one foot infront of the other and you will get through this. If I can I'm sure you can too. Like I was, I'm  sure that at the moment you are scared about what lies ahead but you really must try not to worry. Easier said than done I know but the oncologists know what they are doing, the nurses are lovely and will look after you and you can always come here to chat. 

I have met so many lovely people on my cancer "journey" and I'm sure you will too. I actually run my own cancer support groupniw, something i could never have dreamt of pre cancer. Talk to the lovely people in your local MacMillan centre ( I think most hospitals have one) and make use of your breast care nurses, they are there to support you. Be kind to yourself, you will have good days and not so good days but just listen to your body and rest when you need to. 

I hope that maybe I have helped you a little. You are much stronger than you think, you really are. You can do this, you WILL do this and come out the other side. The darkest night will always end and you will see the sunshine again. I am here if you want to chat at anytime.
