  • Hello Bradleystoke1

I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some health concerns that have resulted in you being referred for a colonoscopy. It's understandable that you are feeling anxious.

We know that for many people this period of waiting for tests and appointments can be difficult. Try to keep busy and think positively. Whilst often easier said than done, worrying won't change the outcome but it will make you feel worse in the interim so try to stay as positive as you can.

Hopefully the team will be able to give you some reassurance when you see them on Tuesday. If there's anything you'd like to talk through with one of our nurses you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Do let us know how you get on.

    Best wishes,

  • Hi Eddie,

We have some information about colonoscopy on our website, do have a look through this as it may answer any questions you have.

If not, you may find it helpful to speak to one of our nurses. You can either do this by posting in the 'Ask the Nurses' section of this forum, or by calling freephone 0808 800 4040 (Monday-Friday, 9-5).

    Best wishes,
