Hello John-952 and a warm welcome to the forum. You will stop in hospital for a few hours for the anaesthetic to wear off, to make sure you are eating and drinking ok and are able to pee. There is usually discomfort, though not always, the perineum, rectum and penis are where you may get it. Also you may pass a little blood for a short period of time, stools, semen and urine. Keep everything down below as clean as you can as you don't want an infection, good luck and take care.
