I am sorry to hear of your situation and the fact that your pain is still not under control. What strength of Morphine patches are you on? I am not a doctor, but these may need to be increased in strength, but between these and your oral Morphine, you may feel quite tired. When are you due to get the results of your PET scan? Your care team are trying to find the primary source, so that they can target your treatment accordingly. Don't worry about the length of your wait for treatment. You won't be left any longer than is absolutely necessary to get things right.

Hi Jolamie

I have just got off the phone from my doctors and the are increasing my dosage of the patches. 

I should have the results of the PET scan on Friday at the latest. Which is good.

I guess I am a little anxious with regards to the results.

Hi Guy,

It is only natural that you are concerned about the results, but you will find it easier to know what you are dealing with, rather than living in limbo and not knowing what is happening. I sincerely hope that your care team have identified the primary source and that you won't need any further tests.
