Hi Eddie my husband is been tested for prostate cancer we are waiting for a appointment for urologist there rushing it through but obviously we are worried
Hi melsy, I understand what an emotional time this is for you and your husband, any mention of cancer is frightening. I have prostate cancer PCa, diagnosed June 2022, If I can help just ask, take care.

Thank you his psa has doubled which is worrying but trying not to worry but it’s hard not too we expected to be told his iron levels was low not what they said yesterday I lost my dad to cancer so know already what to expect if it is ( hopefully not)
Hi melsy, So sorry to hear about your dad, I lost my mum to lung cancer so know what an awful time you went through. PSA is an indicator not a diagnosis and there are other reasons for the rise, inflammation or benign enlargement. His scan and biopsy will tell you everything, if it is PCa, which we hope it's not, remember 98% of men who get it do not die of it. best of luck with the tests, take care.
