Hi all

my name is Sian, I have recently been diagnosed with lung cancer. I was/am scheduled for surgery on 26th February but I have tested positive for MRSA and the procedure may be delayed due to the junior doctor strike. 

my daughter who lives with me is being wonderful but I worry about the pressure on her. My employer (NHS) are being good, so far, although I am worried how long that will last.  

I feel like it hasn’t hit me yet and think it’s all just building up waiting to explode.  I didn’t accept how invasive the surgery was going to be (left lobe removal) and post surgery I can’t imagine how it will be.
