I have always believed that a civilised society is judged by ( I paraphrase) how it takes care of its elderly, the young,, and the sick and infirm.
Some time ago, British Gas, or whatever they are now, bought-out my usual provider ( No one told me!) there ensued a difficult situation, culminating in a nine thousand pounds bill. During one period, even in the Summer, despite using small heaters to augment the main heating, I could not get warm
necesssitating the heating being on day and night. I was approached by qa solicitor, via letter, suggesting all kinds of dire consequences. Yet I have attempted the usual channels, such as negotiating repayment terms etc., all the usual procedures. It toook them an age even to come read the meter. I am sorry that this is somewhat garbled. I was optimistic about the imminent chemo sessiions, but.....this has caused me distress, which otheris I did not have about the cancer.I am now so ennervated that I am concerned that I will not have enough strength, which is surely to undermine any treatment. I hope that each of you is doing as well as you can be! I wonder if you have experienced similar? Again I will apologise for this being so garbled, illiterate, misspelt......
