Hi I had been unwell from July 2023 thinking I was run down so had a visit to the GP as I had developed a lump in the neck at 58 you expect things to happen to cut to the chase I ended up in hospital where I had a needle biopsy on the inflamed lymph node. A two week wait and the diagnosis was in a rare lymphoma called Angioimmunoblastic T cell and straight in for CHOP chemotherapy I have now finished the cycle and had my PET CT i have now had the results and although the lymph nodes are clear I am now showing high lighting on the pelvic area so next stage is a bone marrow biopsy as they think it’s residue from the chemotherapy but they want to be sure. If everything goes well I s get a auto stem cell transplant.
