Hi i just wanted to reassure you-  this sounds very similar to me, I’m 37 and usually always have normal results (apart from in my 20s i did have an abnormal one and had a colposcopy) but been normal for about 15 years. I had my smear a few weeks ago, and when the nurse saw my cervix, I told her to tell me if she saw anything unusual. So she did … she said it looked like I had a mark on it, could be nothing. She said it’s a red patch. Which worried me. But sh e also said this can be normal. Sometimes it just appears. And I will know more when I get my result. I got  my result after a couple of weeks and it was completely normal! ️

Thank you so much for replying! Everyone around me keeps telling me to stay off the Internet and forums but this is what I want to see, others who have been through similar experience letting us how normal it can be and not to always think the worse.
