Hello dron and welcome to the forum, i am so sorry to hear your wife's diagnosis and know, from experience, what a traumatic time this is for you and your family. dron i am not a medical professional but have looked after 3 family members with terminal cancer. including my mum. It's going to be difficult emotionally as well as physically but with good outside support much of your wife's remaining time will be ok, regarding outside care, your wife should have a palliative care team these will visit regularly to provide relief for pain and symptoms, help source equipment and supplies when it's needed, help with personal care needs and offer support and advice. you should also see about a social worker to talk  about a nutritionist and physiotherapy. You and your son will manage just fine, we all find a way to care for partners and family because we love them, and that is the most important thing. please take care, Eddie
