As someone who has had 2 bouts of breast cancer, I can empathise with all that you say. I am glad t hear that you have reached the stage of acceptance for the hand that you've been dealt. We only get one chance at life and need to make the most of it, despite any obstacles that come along. I am delighted to hear that you have had such good care from your care team and commend you for your willingness to raise some funds to help their cause. 

I was first diagnosed 14 years ago and it took me some time to accept my lot in life. I feel that we are very fortunate to be living here in the UK, where everyone can access the excellent services of the NHS, not just those who can afford treatment, as in some other countries.

You will find this forum a great support, as you travel your cancer journey. No matter what your problem is, there is always someone who has had the same experience, who is willing to share any advice that might help you.

Thank you jolamine for you're kind words & welcoming me to the forum. I agree with what you say about accepting my condition, as it has took most of the last year coming to terms with this. But I now feel confident & stronger facing whatever lays ahead.
