I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been through surgery for lung cancer. It's understandable that you're feeling shocked by things. 

How did your appointment with the surgeon go yesterday? I hope that they were able to give you some reassurance about your recovery to date and the next steps.

I’ve been back and got the pathology report, I had two different types of cancer, the one in the top lobe was the invasive type thankfully they said they got it all, my lymph nodes was clear, and I won’t need chemotherapy, probably radiotherpy I have to get another pet scan next week in case they missed anything, now I need to stay positive and get strong. 

Hi, I've just read this and really feel for you as you haven't had time to think. Its good that you have been treated so quickly. I know that it is a very painful thing to recover from. Very invasive and lots of nerve damage. I know this as my husband has recently had a lobectomy. There are different treatments for different types I suppose. My husband is not on chemo he is on something completely different as is mutation is quite rare. I hope your consultation went okay. I realise now that your post was two months ago. How are you?
