New here and hoping for some advice please.
I'm 54 and GP says it's safe to assume that I'm menopausal due to my age even though I haven't had symptoms of night sweats, hot flushes etc. Was put on cyclical hrt in Nov last year and was changed over to continuous hrt beginning of Jan. End of Jan had mirena removed and a month later had a week long, painful bleed. Nothing more until 2 weeks ago when I had some light brown spotting for 3 days and then again it started again yesterday and is heavier spotting than before. GP told me she is "very concerned" and has referred me for a hysteroscopy. Am having an ultrasound tomorrow and then a hysteroscopy at some stage but don't know when. I saw on my nhs app that a consultant's appointment has been booked for weds 12th July for suspected cancer but it says **Not for patient attendance** Can anyone tell me what this means?
I have bad health anxiety and have done the very thing I tell everyone else not to do and googled extensively.....terrified by what I have read as I do have urinary frequency some days, always tired, have frequent indigestion, upper stomach pains and pelvic pains. I've managed to get myself in a terrible state and my head is all over the place, very teary and convinced myself of the worst case scenario. I know there's nothing I can do but would really appreciate someone to chat to and if possible some idea of what the message on the consultant appointment might mean
Thanks x
