Anxiety

Recently diagnosed with non hodgepodge lymphoma !
Doc said because it’s a bit rare it can’t be cured but can be managed.
Had my first chemo last week. I feel like a basket case with this anxiety. I didn’t want to be around since I lost my husband to esophageal cancer, now I’ve realised I do. But if the cancer doesn’t get me the anxiety will, don’t worry I’m not suicidal, just constantly panicking. Anyone else feel the same.

nothing wrong with being anxious.. I hope your first chemo went well. Keep in touch with your care team regarding any effects you may have from it but don't panic - almost everything you experience will be as a result of the treatment thats all
