In regards to the questions you've asked in your post, I'd recommend getting in touch with one of our cancer nurses as they'll be better placed to give you the insight and answers you're seeking. If you'd like to speak with them, they're available Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m on 0808 800 4040 or you can make a new post in their section of the forum just here.

I'm not sure from your post whether this patient is a family member, but if they are and you're able to get their permission, you should be able to discuss this directly with their GP or cancer team.

This is a family member and I would like to get some information about his condition.

I will take your great advice and contact nursing team so they can give me much clear information. I cannot get in touch with his GP and I thought some one has the experience could help and inform me as I am so worried.
