Hello

Hello, and thanks for letting me join.

This seems a really inspiring and supportive community.

I have posted more detail in the pre-diagnosis section, but in brief I am a 49 year old male, very scared, and waiting for a CT Scan after a single 36mm lesion was found by ultrasound on my liver last week.

Thank you.

  • Hi and welcome to the forum the club nobody wants to join,  noticed your other post first, you might not get a reply straight away to do with your liver, as alot of people only come on forum now and again. And some need there beauty sleep.

Im one of the regulars on here, I've got prostate cancer, gone too lymph node's, pelvis, spine, ribs and a lung. Managing to live with my uninvited guest, was diagnosed feb 2016, palative care.

Glad you have learnt to keep off Google, definitely not good reading.

If you go to the beginning of your page you'll find a thick blue line open search and enter what you are looking for you should get information written by others hopefully that will give you what you want and you can find someone with same problem.

Good luck and try to keep positive it does help.

    Billy

  • Thank you for your kind words.

How are you keeping just now?

  • Probably shouldn't say but chaos actually, I've been lacking energy and oncologist has told me to stop my cancer meds to see if that's reason, my cancer count is increasing slowly but my energy is improving as well, soon on meds again and waiting for count to drop again.

My wife is in hospital as well been in over three months just been told covid risk, never rains but it pours.

Remember positivity really does help even if it's a struggle now and again.
