2 week urgent suspected cancer pathway

Hi, i have been referred for urgent suspected cancer to gynae and urology.

Ultrasound showed 10cm tumour on kidney and complex cyst on ovary.

I want to phone the hospital departments and check they have hsd the referrals.

Is this wise or will they just get fed up.

Ultrasound was done privately so they wrote to my GP

Hi Joan,
Sorry to hear about your worries regarding this. I would certainly phone them if anything it will put your mind at ease.
I had a call from my gp today to sat they were putting me on the 2 week pathway (only on coming here did I find out what that was) and this afternoon I had a text message with an appointment date.

Thank you. I have appointment with urology on 25th and hopefully ct scan nextvweek. Its so scary
