I am sorry to hear of your symptoms, but you are doing the right thing by getting these investigated. Try not to panic. Not all lumps are cancerous. Many turn out to be benign cysts, hormonal or fibrous changes. The fact that your lump moves is hopeful, because most cancerous lumps are fixed and have jagged edges.

If your GP feels that this needs further investigation, you will be referred to the breast clinic, where you may possibly have to have a scan. However scans are painless, so don't stress yourself about this. You will find that most of the staff at these clinics are very understanding and helpful. It usually takes about 2 weeks from the date of referral to get an appointment at the breast clinic, althoough it can take a little longer in some areas due to Covid and staff shortages.

If you have any tests carried out it can take another 1-3 weeks to get your results. The only advice I can give you is to keep yourself preoccupied with a pastime and to steer clear of consulting Dr Google. Much of the information here is poorly researched, out of date and aimed at the most spectacular cases. As a result, doing this will only scare you further and serve no useful purpose. I am sorry to hear about your auntie's diagnosis - is she on your maternal or paternal side?

Try to remind yourself that "it isn't cancer until you're told that it's cancer". Even if the worst comes to the worst, breast cancer is one of the most treatable forms of cancer nowadays.

Unfortunately, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to cancer. Most cancers tend to be painless, but we can often make an area painful by continually prodding  and probing. They also tend to feel fixed and usually have jagged edges, but there is the exception to every rule.

This should be fairly straightforward for any doctor, so try not to worry about seeing someone new. I sincerely hope that all turns out well for you. Please let us know.

My lump in my armpit was a lymph node it was found a few years ago by my breast surgeon and watched it was removed recently as it seemed to have got bigger and sore 

Nothing cancerous fortunately l hope you have a similar experience
