Mesothelioma and confusion

Hi

 

My dad was diagnosed 6 weeks ago with mesothelioma which they cant treat. Hes rapidly gone down hill to point were we have been told that they can no longer drain his chest anymore. We are waiting fir a care package to get him home from hospital. Has anyone else had experience of there loved one having confusion. My dad is extremly confused at the moment and sometimes doesnt know what day it olis or that hes even in hospital. Is this normal? Thanks

    Firstly just wanted to say I really am so sorry to hear about your dad & what your going through.. I understand everything your saying, my mum is in the exact same position & the confusion is really heart breaking, are you visiting him in the hospital at the moment?
