Hi my dad was diagnosed with a grade four brain tumour back in December. He then had surgery to remove what they could at the end of December and that seemed to go okay they were able to remove the majority of the tumour. He then started on radio and chemotherapy tablets combined for 6 weeks which was then meant to be followed by 6 months of chemo tablets on their own. However about 6 weeks ago so only 5 months after his diagnosis we found out that his tumour was growing and the treatment was not being successful. After a couple of hospital trips they also then discovered that my dad had something very rare which was bone mets that had been caused by his brain tumour. The doctors said that this is very very rare as bone mets dosnt normally come from brain tumours. Since this diagnosis only a couple of weeks ago he has deteriorated so rapidly he has now lost all movement in his legs his speech is getting worse by the day and he is struggling to stay awake now. Does anyone else have experience of these 2 together and roughly how long do you think my dad has left ? The doctors when they last spoke to us said maybe months but I feel it is less than that with how quickly he has gone down hill.
