  • Hi there ...

So so sorry your going through this heartbraking time at the moment... it must be heartbraking... maybe give Marie Currie a ring... go on their home page and get their phone number ... they are there for that reason to help your dad, and those effected by it ...

Unfortunately there's no hard and fast rules , although I'm not qualified in cancer, just things I learned along the way ... they are very rough about time and how long someone has as some live a lot longer and some a lot shorter ... but talk to Marie Currie... write down your questions so you don't forget ...

It's one of the hardest things we ever do in life ... I'd say take each day as it comes... use the time to listen to each other ... leave nothing unsaid... ask him about his life , bet there's lots you don't know...

Sending a vertual hug.... Chrissie x

  • Hello

My husband has the same diagnosis. He sleeps most of the time and is confused. He does eat breakfast and drinks so far but doesn't eat anything else. He is very weak as he has lost so much weight. He was 12 stone but now is only nine and a half stone and 5 feet 11 tall. He is so thin and frail.

He has a morphine patch. I don't know what the future holds - just take it a day at a time.

    Best wishes

    Ronnie
