Looking for some advice. Myself and my mum have been self isolating for over a week now with only one of her friends visiting (who is also self isolating from everyone). My mum has incurable cancer and is on last line of treatment.
For her mental health and quality of life I think it's important she still sees her friend and my sister if possible (depending if my sister is able to self isolate or not). Her friend isn't her carer as I've moved in and caring but with latest govt guidelines wondered if there were exemptions for those with limited time left?
We don't want to set bad example of others seeing her friens visiting and thinking its OK not to socially isolate, but this isn't just 3 weeks out of a lifetime--this could potentially be the last 3 weeks in the last few months of her life.
