I am so sorry to hear about your lovely daughter. My husband died from the same cancer 19 years ago. He was totally out of pain. He had a syringe driver for the last 11 days of his life. I think it was morphine, but there may be something else now. He wanted to pass away at home. Although the cancer nurses and his own doctor tried their hardest to get me to let them take him to hospital, I stayed strong and said no. Andy wanted to die at home and that was the last thing I could do for him. I am proud of that. Also the most amazing thing happened. While Andy was lying there in bed I lent my head on his and what I saw was wonderful. He was standing on a snowy mountain and all his family that had already passed away were standing there waiting for him. His childhood dog,  and his friend that passed away  when she was young were all waiting for him. It was beautiful. There was two lovely wooden cabins ( one of them was built by Andy's family for him ) and a lake with a canoe on it, made out of a hollowed out tree trunk. I  told the Reverend when he came round to discuss the funeral arrangements and he said it is very rare, but he has heard of elderly couple's experiencing it that have been together for 70 odd years. My husband died at 31 and we had only been together for 15 years, but when he was well, I would send him a message in my mind to buy a curtain item from the shop while he was there, and he would always come back with the item in his hand and a very confused look on his face. I am a sorry to hear this. My mum passed away yesterday and I am trying to understand her cancer more. Why could they not operate on your daughter for the PE or treat it?

Also my mum was the same and could not have chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Why could your daughter not have that? 

Because it’s secondary lung cancer they can’t treat it   It wasn’t a p.e that’s what they were looking for also my daughter has very complex needs.
