Hi, my grandma has secondary brain cancer and is at a stage where she has lost the ability to speak. However, this morning when they put the phone to her ear so that I could speak to her, when I said " hi grandma, I love you", she started making sounds. She can't move her tongue but she seems to hear.
I'd like to know if she's still able to understand me at this stage.( I spoke to her last week and she sounded fine. I can't believe how quickly this is happening).
My grandma lives in another country and I understand this is the end of life process, but if she is still conscious and understands me, she might want/ like to see me there. I'd like to make an informed (as possible) decision before getting on a plane.
