My Dad passed away on the 8th of January 2019 just two months after being diagnosed with a Stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme Brain Tumor. After initial diagnosis in November of 2018 surgery was scheduled for December and removal of the golfball sized tumor behind his right ear.
The mass was successfully removed however the risidual spidering had to be attacked with Radiation Treatment which couldn't commence until his incision had healed from surgery, approximately 6 weeks. Considering that the initial tumor had only been growing for three months without any foundation from which to develop, we suspected that the six weeks between surgery and treatment would allow the spidering roots to redevelop (which it did) and once again aggresively grow.
Dad passed away with two of his initial treatments remaining. He did mention to me that he felt as though the treatment wasn't doing anything and that he was certain that the end was near.
