have the doctors said how long she has left?
Oh I'm very sad to hear that. It's hard to go through at any age but as a teenager it must be just awful. Sounds like you need a lot of support. You can't take it all on. Have you got an adult in your life who will support you and you can confide in? It's very important for you to have such support. Without knowing your situation, it's hard to offer you advice on this.
In terms of staying strong, I'm a 41 year old woman and struggle. My dad is dying. I think it's important to have a good cry, we all need to. Try and make a memory box with your mum. This is something I'm going to do with my dad.
Jojo is that going to be hard to do?
I found it easier to make a memory box of my Mum after, as I didnt want to have a discussion alluding to dying
Hi HP you are not alone. My mum is also dying, I am 32 years older than you but know exactly how you feel . We all try and stay strong but you cannot do that all of the time. We are always hear to listen, do you have someone at home or school to talk to? Xx
