Can I start by saying that I'm really sorry to hear about your dad. I have no answers for you I'm afraid but I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone. My dad has been diagnosed with secondary lung cancer and has been given 2-3 weeks. He is very poorly and hardly has the strength to move. He doesn't eat as he has no appetite and in constant pain despite nurses regularly upping his pain relief. I feel like you numb and lost and have no idea what to expect. Sorry that this post hasn't given you answers but I just had to reply to you xxx

Hi so sorry to hear about both your dad's. So sad,my mum has lung cancer  she was diagnosed at the beginning of March 2 days before my dad's funeral.  She is too weak to have a biopsy. They said looking at the scan it is stage 2 and its in her lymph nodes aswell. But can't say how aggressive it is.... she sleeps all day only getting up for the toilet but can't walk after having two falls on Monday so sad to watch an  looks so lost.

I know how you're feeling, my Dad is in a similar boat too - just be with him as much as possible! There is not much else you can do, but being there with him will be of comfort to him.

Hi sugar, I just wanted to say your not alone. Your dad has the best people taking care of him and that includes you. Please remember to take care of you too. Being there for him in sure means the world to him. I no he's very poorly, but you can only be you and be the person he brought you up to be! I bet he's so proud! Your not alone, give me a shout for a moan if needed. I lost my dad 6 years ago, life can be pants to say the least, but we're here for you xx donna xx
