Just thought I would welcome you to the forum during what it an exceptionally emotional time for you. No one wants to lose a much loved parent/relative/friend (my Dad passed away 8 years ago and my husband 9 months ago)  and we all do our best for those who are affected  by illness.  I am sure the care home will keep your Dad as comfortable as possible and you need to take good care of youself and safely deliver your twins.  Take or ask for as much support as possible from those around you and I hope others on the forum will soon come along to offer a listening ear. I suspect your Dad will be counting the days until the twins arrival as much as you are and hope you get the chance to celebrate this wonderful event together. Regards Jules54

Such mixed emotions when reading your latest post. Such sadness you must be feeling at the loss of your dad and I offer condolences at this time to  you and your family. Then there is the joy of new life that your twins bring into your world. Be kind to yourself and let those around you support you during this emotional time.Jules

We simply graduate from this testing ground of misery, worry, pain, and insecurity. We either come here to suffer to learn our lessons, or suffer to teach what we know, but this -earth- is the plain of suffering and thank God its not permanent! How long does the workday seem to you. Earth life is the long work day. We all came here to suffer in one way or another, and one day, for ALL of us the workday will end. It doesn't feel like it here, because we came here to suffer, but there is a place where we will go that will never end, and there will be no suffering. We will heal from this. Open your mind even if only for a second. If your suffering, your doing it right! Emotional, Mental, Physical, sometimes all. Its OK. This life is one long workday in the big picture of our entire and endless existence. I am not telling you anything that I dont tell myself every day, and everyone I love most. I have a big, LOUD conscience. Hang in there, and keep caring about everything you do. Don't ever decide to turn cold. I send this message out with the hope to keep all of us who have or had or know someone with cancer or anything potentially life ending together caring, striving, to get through it all and finish right side up. Balance emotion and logic, and hold on tight to those who can't. If you pray, pray for everyone who feels exactly like you do and worse. You are never alone...and neither am I.
