My husband passed away with cancer so quick within two weeks

My husband was admitted into A&E on the 21st September and stayed in until the 24th September as a outpatient. They done scans CT MRI PET and found out he had cancer in both of his lungs and his liver causing jaundice. He was fine when he left the hospital taking antibiotics. But soon after a couple days his appetite started decreasing causing a lot of weight lost then it stopped. I tried everything to keep him eating but no luck. He know his was dying and explained to me and my young daughters that he was not going to get better. So we had the talk which was hard to take in by anyone. We were prepared but didn't know when or how long. On the 4th October (Sunday) we had to call the ambulance has my husband breathing was getting bad. The ambulance took him into hospital and I followed after the next thing I knew he was taken up the general intensive care unit. They said was he very unwell and wouldn't survive the night but he did and i stayed with him all night until the early morning until I received a update from doctor. They said he was very unwell but it was looking good he was going the right on way and he was responding to treatment which give me little bit of hope. The next day when I visited by husband I was taken into a room by the specialist they explain that my husband had 0% survival and they were really concern about his heart. I stayed with him until the late afternoon then went home but i did explain if there was anything that changes call me straight away. Which they did at 10 pm on Monday and explain that my husband was deteriorating and to come quick. I rush to be by side but his heart had stop before I could get there. I didn't properly say goodbye to him and feel so guilty. He died on 5th October at 10.30 pm. I feel so numb and empty thinking his going to come through the front door anytime but know his not. I have been through so much these few weeks and I have had to do everything by myself. I have two lovely daughters and my mum and dad and my best friend that has support me through out this horrible situation I very glad to have them all. I hope this story will help someone out there that you are not alone.
