My brother in law has oesophageal cancer and has been given 2 months prognosis. He is at home in bed under palliative care and has a lot of pain in spite of the painkillers he receives.

My sister in law is looking after him.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how I can help. I am planning to get some good quality ready meals including soft food ones for as long as he can eat them but wondering what else I could get to give him or her comfort. Suggestions I have seen online include support pillows/blankets/heating,cooling pads but wondering if anyone has been through this with their loved on and can recommend anything
