Last tuesday my dad got taken to hospital as he wasn't feeling too good. That night the doctors came in and told us devastating news that dad has cancer in his pancreas, liver and stomach. My mum and I felt crushed. Every day we have gone to the hospital to be with him, last night they told us his kidneys are failing. Today we find out the cancer is in his lungs and he has only days to live. I dont know how to deal with this. 

Its all happened so quick. We knew my dad was poorly due to diabetes but I really thought we would have longer with him. Its been a tough few days. Theres so many answers I need. Why did he have no symptoms, why did the diabetic nurses not pick up on it. He had regular blood tests. Im not blaming the diabetic nurses but would the blood tests not show he has cancer or theres something wrong.
