My father in law had prostate cancer and it metastised to his bones last year and then spread .. He is now at hospital “end of life care” This is day 3 since he last talked or drank water. He has been in deep sleep..
He opened his eyes this morning for 20 min. His wife and sons talked to him and he could only blink his eyes. He then went back to sleep. He had rattling breathing sounds last night. He doesn’t move at all.. The nurses just reposition him every now and then.. He’s just lying on bed, he can’t even close his mouth.. It’s so hearthbreaking to see him like that.. No idea how long more..
