My breast cancer has just gone to my lungs and brain where I have about 10 rice size lesions .I have been offered full brain radiation or gamma knife .has anyone got any ideas which one to go for .I am scared don’t know what to do
Hi ,'ve heard of Gamma knife (Cyber knife) before a few years ago but I thought it was only done privately ,it sounds really good ,if you're offered this I would take it it sounds so much more effective than radiation plus it only takes one treatment where radiation can take up to 30 ,and also a lot less side affects ,if it were me I would definitely choose Gamma knife ,I really hope it works well for you .
