Hi ,'ve heard of Gamma knife (Cyber knife) before a few years ago but I thought it was only done privately ,it sounds really good ,if you're offered this I would take it  it sounds so much more effective than radiation plus  it only takes one treatment where radiation can take up to 30 ,and also a lot less side affects ,if it were me I would definitely choose Gamma knife ,I really hope it works well for you .

But it is good for under 10 lesions and I have 12 so they are offering me strong 5 radiation 

Hello my mum had the gamma knife in February (stereostatic radiotherapy) and she was really good with it. Less invasive and it shrunk it. She only needed one session. Went in and walked out a few hours later. Hope that helps x

My drs are telling me to have whole brain radiation as I hv 12 lesions now .I had 2 before and had srs but scared as wbr has lots of side effects 

I can understand you being scared and apprehensive. It’s a natural reaction. Plus It’s a lot to take in and compute, coupled with working out which side effects are “better”. You will know yourself the best when it comes to making your decision and choices xxx
