Hi, I've previously had breast cancer and a unilateral mastectomy and have a family history of connected cancers. I've also now been diagnosed with a PALB2 mutation. This mutation is only present in about 2% of inherited cancer genes so not much is known about it. I understand the breast cancer risk but my genetic counsellor said there are currently no figures for ovarian cancer apart from they know there is an increased risk. Does anyone else have experience of this gene or can point me to any further info?
