My son has SNUC Nasal Cancer

I’m looking to find others with this rare cancer and how to manage and go forward.

My son who is only 23 was diagnosed recently with this. He has had his first session of 6 days 24 hrs Chemotherapy and goes back into hospital for his second round next Saturday.

As parents we feel hopeless this cancer is rare and very little information on it.

We would be happy to look into trials and options which may help in his recovery.

  • A very warm welcome to the Cancer Chat community DebW54 although I'm really sorry to hear about your son.

Finding our your son has this rare cancer at such a young age must be incredibly difficult but we are here for you Deb and sending all our strength and support your way.

We do have some information about nasal and paranasal sinus cancer on our website, but if you'd like to discuss this in more detail with one of our cancer nurses, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very easy to talk to and will do all they can to help you at this time.

I know you mentioned you're happy to look into trials so I'm just going to include a link to our clinical trials page so you can have a look at what's open at the present time. Our nurses will be able to give you further information and advice on this as well.

We're thinking of you Deb and wishing your son all the best with his next round of chemo on Saturday.

    Kind regards,
