Really sorry for you and it must be difficult to come to terms with. I lost my Dad yesterday morning after a 4 month battle and it hurts so much right now. Like you and your Mum, me and my Dad were very close. He meant everything to me and so I tried to show it to him over this past few months (he already knew).

Try to focus on the time you've got left and show your mum how you feel about her (I'm sure she already knows). It's going to be difficult but you've got to be strong for her. You will be surprised at what you can do even under intense pressure when in the thick of it all in the months to come.
