Hi there, sorry to hear your sad news. I just feel like we were robbed of even a journey. How can you work right up to the time you you feel ill and then like a bombs gone off inside you your demise happens so so quickly. It's 2019 we put people in space! 5 weeks from start to finish is just unreal. I notice you said your wife suffered, I'm so sorry about that. It was the same with my dad, the pain could never be managed all the time he was breathing I think. Just awful to see the person you love suffer like that.

Thanks for your reply.

I can't really appreciate how you feel with it being only 5 weeks. We were told that Lesley would be able to have an operation but due to her having complications they changed there mind. We saw a professor who had promised doing the op but as Lesley probably wasn't physically strong enough he cancelled it. This was all through no fault of her own of course. 

I could write a book about the last 2 years.

I do feel for you as Lesley was 62 and it was a complete shock to all of us. TBH I am still devastated

How are you coping and what about the rest of your family have you any support and what about your mum.
