Hi I'm new here

Hi Meglou213. I am so sorry to hear that you have lost both of your parents. You don't look very old. I lost my husband to cancer 19 years ago when I was 30 and he was only 31. Our son at the time was only 5 years old. If you want a chat I'm here

  • Hi [@Tinsy]‍ ,

my god, I am so sorry to hear that about your husband. 31. That is just so so unfair - you had your whole lives ahead of you and such a young son as well - I’m sure he has grown up into an amazing lad though - I’m sure at times it’s been tough.

Im 29 - my dad was 55 when he died in 2010 and my mam was 57 when she died in May.

I’ve no siblings which is hard - cause you really do feel alone - my mam had 7 brothers and sisters and they all have kids and that - 39 of them in total - not one has text or called me since the funeral - and I don’t talk to my dads side at all - so I have no family at all at the moment. I have an amazing boyfriend of 6 years - but he doesn’t really know what to say. He is hurting too because he had such a good relationship with my mam. She adored him. It’s just really tough sometimes. Xx i know it won’t get easier but I hope it will get more bearable xx

  • Morning. Sorry I nodded off LOL. Thanks for your reply and concern for me:) bless you. I friend requested you so you had someone to talk to that understands lol, I wasn't expecting you to feel sorry for me. I'm fine thanks. Yes our son Matt is 24 next week and he has turned out fantastically. He has just finished 3 years at uni studying Archaeology and is waiting for his results. He should have them by the end of the month. I am assuming that your mum or dad passed away with cancer ? That's really hard isn't it :|
